World Beer Tour

As if tasting different beers wasn’t cool enough, you can now do it with a goal in mind.  If you drink over 100 different beers you become a member of the World Beer Club.    Not only are you an official member, but you get some cool stuff as well.  Here’s what you get:

• Drink 100 beers and you get a t-shirt and you get your name engraved into the bar
• Drink 250 beers and you get your own engraved mug to drink out of.
• Drink 500 beers and well I don’t even know at this point but it’s going to be really awesome.
• Drink 1000 beers and something even cooler will happen.

Here are the rules:

1. You must drink 100 different beers.  Having 100 Utica Clubs does not count.
2. Both drafts and bottles count toward your goal.
3. You must drink your own beer.  You cannot take a sip of your buddy’s and have that count.
4. You must drink the beer at Nail Creek Pub.  You might of had 10,000 different beers in the comfort of you own home but unfortunately that will not count either.

Hopefully we will have our computer system up and running soon.  The computer will keep track of all the beers you drank and stats about your progress.   In addition to individual stats it will display group statistics so you can see where you stand amongst your fellow beer geeks.  Web and facebook integration will be a part of the system as well.  Hopefully we get this up and running soon.  In the meantime, keep drinking and using the binder to grow your beer list.
