We now even brew our own beer! It took some time, a lot of hard work, and a giant stack of paperwork but we got it done.  Since our tastes lean toward Belgian style beers that’ what we primarily brew.   Our small nanobrewery is situated in the barn directly behind Nail Creek Pub and is capable of producting just over 3 barrels of beer at a time.

The area of Utica, NY where Nail Creek is located was once filled with breweries, malteries and all kinds of brewing industry.  Our prestigious neighbors the Matt Brewing Company are located only a stones throw west of us.  I’d like to note that they are about the best neighbors a brewpub could ask for.  When we have a question or need some advise they are more then happy to help.  Stop down on a Friday during happy hour and you are sure to bump into a brewer or two.

Our plan is to one day expand our operations beyond just a brewpub and into an actual brewery meeting more of the regions craft beer demand.  We do however have quite a way to go before any expansion occurs.  Dont worry though, Nail Creek Pub itself will never go anywhere.  We will always be serving  great craft beer including our own (hopefully more of ours) for years to come..

I am asking two things from all of you out there.  The first is simply to give the beer a try. The second is to give me your honest feedback.
